V. Rev. Fr. George Baalbaki
Priest and Pastor of St. Nicholas Church
V. Rev. Fr. George Baalbaki has faithfully served as the pastor of St. Nicholas Church since 2012. He firmly believes that camp is a right, not a privilege, and dedicates himself to equipping St. Nicholas Church and Camp Three Holy Youths (THY) with the necessary resources to grow and flourish in the name of God.
Before his current ministry, Fr. George served congregations at St. Mary of Berkeley, Michigan; Holy Cross Church in Damascus, Syria; and various other parishes throughout Syria. He earned his Theological Degree from the Balamand Monastery in Lebanon and completed his PhD at the University of Pittsburgh.
A steadfast pillar and the foundation of Camp THY, Fr. George’s unwavering support continues to inspire and sustain the community. We are deeply grateful for his dedicated leadership and vision

Subdeacon Ilyan Baalbaki – Camp Director
Subdeacon Ilyan Baalbaki currently serves as a full-time EMT Paramedic for the County of San Mateo and holds the position of Professor and Program Director of the Emergency Medical Care Program at Skyline College. With over a decade of experience as a camp director and having participated in camp since childhood, he is dedicated to ensuring that the camp remains a safe, well-organized, and enriching environment for all children who attend in the years to come.

Claudine Batarse – Assistant Camp Director
Claudine has been an integral part of Camp Three Holy Youths since 2018, progressing from her initial role as a counselor to her current position as Assistant Camp Director. She primarily oversees camp scheduling and logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout each session. Born and raised in San Francisco, Claudine holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science. In addition to her camp responsibilities, she serves as the Teen SOYO Director at St. Nicholas Church, where she is deeply committed to youth development and community engagement.
