Three Holy Children Feast Day- December 17th
Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
My dearly beloved, we are blessed to be announce the Feast Day of our Camp, Camp Three Holy Youths on December 17th. On this day we commemorate the Three Children [Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael (Meshach), and Azariah (Abednego)] who were friends of the Prophet Daniel, and other fellow kinsmen.
During the reign of King Jechonias they were taken prisoner and led away as captives with other Jews during the Babylonian Captivity. Eventually they were taken into the court of King Nebuchadnezzar as servants, stripped of their Hebrew names, and given Babylonian names which honored pagan deities. They later would be delivered by God from death after being placed in furnace by Nebuchadnezzar. They are commemorated December 17.
We look to the Three Holy Youths to continue to protect, and guide us on the right path to salvation. We ask them as intercessors to continue to grow our camp, and our campers spiritually in the faith and ask to give us the strength to do Thy Will O Lord.
Troparion of The Three Holy Children.
Great are the achievements of faith, in the fountain of flames, as by the water of rest. The Three Holy Children rejoice, as the Prophet Daniel proved a shepherd of lions as of sheep. By their prayers oh Christ God save our souls!
We are also pleased to announce the release of our fundraiser workshop. Please email us at admin@campthy.com for more information, or reach out to your local parish for copies of the workshop to complete at home with your campers!
Thank You all, and look forward to seeing you in 2019!

Assistant Camp Director.
